Christophe Degryse is a Senior Researcher and Head of the Foresight Unit at the European Trade Union Institute. The unit aims to equip the European trade union movement with tools for strategic thinking, stimulating reflection on the future of employment and labour markets, while providing decision-makers with instruments that allow them to take this future in hand and help to build it. Before taking up the leadership of the unit in 2016, Mr Degryse published a number of reports and books on the EU, and worked for 10 years as publisher of Social Developments in the European Union, an annual publication co-edited by the European Social Observatory and the ETUI. His research has focused on European social dialogue EU economic governance, and digitisation of the economy and its impact on labour markets.
