Philipp Kircher is the Irving M. Ives Professor of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University (US) where he directs the Institute for Labor Dynamics. He is also Researcher at UC Louvain and Honorary Professorial Fellow at Edinburgh University.
He studies labour markets and inequality; his research interests include the wages and employment prospects of workers with different skills in a world with differentiated jobs/occupations. Professor Kircher explores how various people change occupations and the behaviours of job seekers.
