    WHAT WE’RE
    WORKING ON

    ALL NEWS

The UNTANGLED project first conference, Labour market effects and social impact of technological transformation, globalisation and demographic change will take place in Brussels on 9 November 2022 and feature a keynote address from Anna Salomons, Professor of Employment and Inequality at Utrecht University.

Piotr Lewandowski and Maciej Albinowski of IBS-Institute of Structural Research will present the results of UNTANGLED research at a conference organized in Nuremberg, on 15-16 September 2022 by the Institute for Employment Research (IAB), TASKS VI: The Digital and Ecological Transformation of the Labour Market.

Robotisation and adoption of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) affects demographic groups of European workers differently, a recent paper from Project UNTANGLED found, identifying  women over 60 and men aged 30-49 as being more prone to layoffs than other cohorts

For the first time, the discourse on the challenges facing the labour market held during an UNTANGLED Virtual Expert Café was truly global, as presenters from the EU, Colombia and South Africa joined the discussion.
